    Government of Puducherry in association with Ministry of Culture and Nodal department Art and Culture, GoPY organized to celebrate 150th Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo at Kamban Kalaiarangam on 13-12-2022 at 4.30PM.
    On this occasion Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi was Chief Guest of event through video conferencing for releasing of Commemorative Coin and Postage Stamp of Shri. Aurobindo.
    The other chief guests who attended the event were Hon’ble Union Culture Minister Shri. G. Kishan Reddy, Tamil Nadu Governor Shri. R.N. Ravi, Puducherry UT Lieutenant Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. N. Rangasamy, Chief Secretary in charge Shri. Raju, Secretary to Government (Art & Culture), Collector cum Secretary to Government (Information, LAD) and Smt. Jayanti Ravi, Secretary, Auroville Foundation.
    The event was organized and coordinated by Nodal department Art and Culture and DIT, GoPY had arranged the required resources for video conferencing requirement at Non-NICNET site where event was organized.
    Two dedicated leased lines were provisioned at function site from two different ISPs. Audio and Video equipment were connected using mixer and the active video conferencing was connected using Webex as primary and Bharat VC as secondary. Apart from the active connections between function site and PMO office, around 3040 locations were connected using VC as passive mode. Some VIPs connected using passive mode were Hon’ble Gujarat Chief Minister and Union Education Minister, Government of India.
    NIC, PY official Sh. R.Rajasekaran, Senior Manager, NICSI, Puducherry UT and NIC, Puducherry SHQ FMS support team under the guidance of SIO , ASIO, and HOD (Infra), NIC, Puducherry supported the entire event for smooth video conferencing connectivity with PMO office. The entire Video Conferencing event was moderated and supported by Video Conferencing division, NIC, HQ, New Delhi for overall smooth operations.
