Launch of Online Building Permission System (OBPS) for Pahalgam Development Authority (PDA), Anantnag District, UT of Jammu & Kashmir
The OBPS is to streamline the sanction of Building Plans & Layouts for the general public, to bring transparency, accountability & speedy disposal of applications by PDA. The system has been created in such a way that the general public can submit their application through online, know their application status through SMS & email alerts and obtain permission through online. The software is designed, developed, tested and deployed by a team of Scientists and Programmers from NIC Puduchery and NIC J&K. The OBPS has been Launched for Pahalgam Development Authority by the Chairman and Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, UT of J&K on 29 May 2023, 2.00 pm at New Meeting Hall, Dak Bungalow, Khanabal, Anantnag, J&K.
The salient features of the Online Building Permission System
1. Movement of the documents submitted by the citizen to the NOC departments as well within the ULB is in the form of e-file.
2. Allotment of automated unique token no. to each BP case.
3. Tracking of each BPS case by the citizen through this token no. from anywhere.
4. SMS alert to the citizen as well as NOC Departments.
5. Automated fee calculation.
6. Online Fee payment through payment Gateway.
7. Automated display of granted building permission in the public domain.
8. Dashboard monitoring facility.
